Architectural Studio | Bandra
The Studio space has shared tables for working and an informal seating area with the city street view for stimulating ideas and design concepts. Transparency and interconnectivity between spaces are ensured with the use of glass doors for separating spaces and continuous circulation and visual interaction. The studio walls double up as studio shelves to store their extensive collection of books and office supplies, and boards to exhibit the best works of the company in brightly sunlit areas. The private zones and cabins have wooden blinders to ensure the privacy of work. The false ceiling design uses plywood sections and the flooring is wooden.
Overall, the design is simple and to the point. The principal elements are highlighted while establishing functional, practical and interactive design spaces. The attention to detail can be experienced well with the circulation, areas with natural ventilation and maximized use of daylight
