Bandongri SRA| Kandivali

The Bandongri residential slum redevelopment project is designed taking into consideration the challenges that come along with it. The building is a mixed-use structure with commercial spaces and shops on the lower floor and residential houses on the above floors. The building is extremely tall with a height of 120 meters and beautiful panoramic views from the floors above. The design comprises a fitness center for the residents on the top podium floor where they can exercise with a view. A zero fungible lobby design and the option to expand two 2BHKs into a large home are what set this project apart. The podium area acts as a spill out space for the residents to spend their evenings walking and socializing with the neighbors.

The sale building and the rehabilitation building are separated by a wall with no direct access to each other. The rehabilitation building’s wing comprises a stilt area and 23 floors. It houses only residential houses of 1RK configuration with a diagonal core and no view of the sale wing. Another intriguing feature is the fine segregation of the commercial and residential entrance as it’s a tricky path, especially for projects in such compact settings.
