Green Shadow | Chakala, Mumbai

The project is a redevelopment residential project, located in Andheri, Mumbai. The clients bried was to propose 2BHK flats utilising maximum FSI, with rehabiliting the existing tenants.

The brief was a straightforward redevelopment project, with all the number crunching formulae dictating design parameters. However, the facade treatment helped us bring in some dynamic element into the structure, using the elevation bands. The planning of the units were done considering future expansion and combination of two units into one big one. The design achieved a zero fungible plan.
