Hotel Astro Park Regency | Jalgaon

The site: The site is located in Jalgaon and is at an equal distance from the Jalgaon Airport and the railway station.

The project is a combination of commercial shops and hospitality functions. These functions in the design are separated through an internal service road which acts as space for loading and unloading of the material from the shops. The design idea is to separate the functions yet make the structure look like a single entity.

The shops are provided on the front side of the road, giving them ample frontage. Each shop is a G+1 structure with floating stairs that lead to the lower ground floor of the shops.

The hospitality floors are twisted to form terraces on various levels and provide shade on the lower floors on the south side of the structure. The service core of the structure is designed as one. The twisting of the hotel floors has led to the creation of spillover spaces on alternate floors that can be used for functions such as cafes and recreational areas. These terraces add to the beauty of the functional spaces inside the structure. The north side of the terraces have swimming pools and balconies that the people can access from their rooms.
