Jalgaon Janta Sahakari Bank | Jalgaon

The Site: The site is located at ‘seva’ 117 & 119, Navi Peth, Jalgaon. The old building premise consists of housing banks and its head office and is proposed to be redeveloped for contemporary design and architecture construction.

Design Methodology: The main objective was to create interactive and articulate spaces for employees and the customers. As per the functions and usability, the spaces are fractionated into Public, semi-public and private spaces. The bank and the hard office now have separate entrances and are interconnected within. The addition of a designed recreational space within will also help in maintaining a healthy atmosphere and add to the internal aesthetics of the structure.

The internal Courtyard has a view from all the interior sides of the building and is illuminated by a skylight roof. The green screens on the internal walls of the building add to the beauty of the courtyard. Another double-height recreational zone is designed on the 1st floor which acts as a transition space between two functional areas.
