Poddar Brio School |Kalyan
The Site : The plot is a amenity plot of the Mharal project of Kalyan. The amenity part of the project is to be designed as a Primary School for students of Jr. Kg. to 10th grade.
Design Methodology : The design idea was to create an engaging and interactive environment for students to learn and grow. Therefore, a geometrical grid design was used for planning out the different functional spaces such as the classrooms, labs, playcourts and cafeteria. Large double-height ventilated spaces and a grand atrium is designed to connect these spaces and give a feeling of largeness. The facade design incorporates multicoloured jali which exudes playfulness and fun.
