Postal Colony Garden | Chalisgaon

Postal colony Garden is located outskirt of the Chalisgaon, district Jalgaon. The site area resembles a large squarish courtyard surrounded by residential apartments and bungalows. This existing recreational ground was already divided by four pathways which was eventually developed as a concept of four islands.

The site surrounding was covered by Trees with Concept of Alternative Seasonal tree, Avenue Tree and Flowering tree. This concept of creating yearly tree sequences with equal distances gives beautiful results. The idea of making each and every corner of the Garden give the different experience at every season.

While designing this landscape area, we consider accessibility for people of all ages and abilities, including paths, ramps, seating areas, and other amenities. With the addition of some softscape features, we created a Jogger’s Tract that was surrounded by flowers and shrubs, as well as an activity area for all ages - such as a Kids Play Area and an Open Gym. In addition, we designed a central water element surrounded by seating to create a peaceful environment in the garden.
