Starlink Hotel | Mumbai

The site The location of the site for the Hotel Starlink is at the heart of Mumbai City with vibrant and busy streets. The site’s close proximity to the domestic as well as international airport make it an ideal location for stay. The site is also close to the metro station Chakala and the railway station Andheri. It is also adjacent to the Western Express Highway.

Design Methodology :To take full advantage of the location and yet extremely intricate urban condition, the building design is split into two parts: the service core and the hotel amenities. The hotel includes 60 guestrooms (standard, executive and suite), 2 restaurants, a banquet hall, a rooftop restaurant and a swimming pool.

The openings of the screen are oriented towards the airport, giving a full-unobstructed view.. Vertically, the hotel is divided into two volumes of spaces, the lower volume comprises shops, reception area, cafeteria, banquet hall and the restaurants while the upper volume accommodates 60 guest rooms. The structure’s fluidity, lines and curves contribute to the goal of highlighting the frame.
